China's virus strategy: a model for the world?
The head of the World Health Organization believes China's battle with the coronavirus offers a beacon of hope, but others question whether Beijing's strategy can be followed by other countries -- particularly Western democracies.
I have Bigly words that I know
The key to containing this was wearing masks, checking temperature everywhere, and closing everything for weeks. Sure everyone suffered both personal and businesses, but the alternative is close everything for months. So a short term pain for a long term gain as opposed to a short term gain for a long term pain.
YES. That is why South Korea, Italy, Iran, Spain, and many other countries are follow the model of China with some adjustment to fits individual country's needs. From dealing with this virus, the good and ugly sides of different systems have been exposed for the world to see

If you believe China has no new cases I have some oceanfront property in Montana to sell you real cheap..
It's true,I worked a month in ShenZhen Chinese City.
What has the United States done? Free activity doesn't control the virus at all
We have to learn to work together and to learn from each other.
Look at how China use their intelligence and resources. Copy them and learn from them
You can go on your freedom without masks or quarantine. China does not care if you follow it. Good luck.
A model for the world to follow....not necessarily. The reality is that China has the economic system to produce on demand...its production capability and flexibility is in place to move fast and to distribute. Its political system allows the country to face a crisis head on and to take immediate action
if something works, copy it!
Thank you, China for the exceedingly excellent efforts to contain the epidemic. The world has benefited a lot from your success. The WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus insisted China's success "provides hope for the rest of the world".
